College laptop

A the title says I need a Laptop for college. I was thinking a mac book pro. Now hold on before you start dishing out the hate, I have some reasons. First I already have a gaming computer with a 980ti and a 4770k. I would like to have OSX for the sake of having access to mac applications. To be completely honest windows has never been the most stable operating system and it would be nice to have a computer and operating system that I can rely on especially when I have that essay due in two hours that I haven't started typing yet. I can always put windows on it in the future if I need it. I am not paying for all of it.I don't think an employer would be too happy if I brought a Y50 to work. My question? Is it worth it? Or should I just deal with not having OSX and better gaming performance on a computer I wont game on?

I think a Macbook pro does look more professional than a Y50 and since you do have a gaming pc, get the Mac.

At least it isn't as gamery looking as some laptops out there. Turn off the backlit keys and it almost passes as just a really angular laptop. IDK. I like the way it looks. That's why I bought one I guess.
