Hey Linus Tech Tips,

Should I uninstall my drivers for my 270X before I install my 390 or are AMD's drivers unified? Sorry if this is a dumb question I don't have too much experience with this type of thing.

The 300 and 200 series have different drivers, uninstall then reinstall once the new GPU is in.

Should I just uninstall Catalyst Control Center or should I uninstall the drivers through the Device Manager?

I use Catalyst's uninstall program through the control panel in Windows. Choose to uninstall all programs and the re install. I do that every time I change which GPUs I have plugged in, even when I just switch slots.

If anyone asks you never saw me.
