Hey guys this will be my first time building my own pc, I'm hoping to build a pc for high settings on 1080p gaming for under $1000CAD (not sure how much cheaper it will be on Black Friday)

Since the case comes with 1 fractal design fan I would like to keep it consistent by buying 2 more of those but I'm not sure if it is good enough for cooling. Should I go for something like Noctua or corsair? Also should i get pressure or air flow fans for this case? Thanks

Throw the corsair psu out the window and buy a Super Flower, Seasonic, or EVGA g2 series psu.

Follow your own topics and post a pcpartpicker link rather than this thing

Change the SSD. I've only heard terrible things about the V300 on this forum. They changed the controller, and now it has terrible read/write speeds. Go with a Sandisk/Samsung 120gb instead! :)

That's all you need to know. It's a beast.

Save up enough to get a 380, and you'll be golden. I'd save in the area by not getting a K series. Just get the Skylake 6600. PSU wise, get literally anything from seasonic. :3

6500* as it's like 0.2GHz slower for less cost .w. Also, @Aubz http://pcpartpicker.com/ is a rather useful website for making parts lists.

What's wrong with the corsair psu?

How about EVGA 100-B1-0500-KR 80 PLUS Bronze 500W Active PFC ATX12V v2.31/EPS 12V v2.91 Power Supply ?

There is nothing seriously wrong with the CX-500M psu. Personally I would choose it over the EVGA 100-B1-0500-KR as the CX is a better built unit.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
