Intel 520 120gb ?

So I'm gonna do an upgrade for my dad's old desktop and found a Intel 520 series 120gb ssd for sale for 40$ cad just wondering if it would be a good buy ? I'm planning on bringing the price down a bit but that's the price he's asking. Second is intel warranty transferable ? It has a 5 year warranty and it was only released about 3 years ago so in case something dies I want to be able to return it or get it repaired the only other ssd's for sale are this and two 320 series 120gb so I'd rather go for the 520

I do have the 240GB model of that, and I have no regrets. It's not the fastest SSD out there, but I've had it for ~3 years and it's still going strong(even after benchmarking it a few times). In regards to the warranty, most of them cannot be transferred AFAIK.

ok do you know if intel is though ? Not the biggest deal but it would be nice to have
