GPU artifacts with directx10/11

When ever i try to run directx10 or 11 programs my gpu driver either crashes or i get massive artifacts. i have a Nvidia gt 430 msi OC edition 1gb dual fan. I have tried reinstalling gpu drivers, directx drivers and nothing worked. if some one has any suggestions please leave a replay!
