What are some good Red led's that i can mount to the underside of my desk for some accent lighting? kind of like the link below (The red lights under the table, not to bright but good enough for a red "glow" )

I'd go with these and then get some white tissue paper / diffusion paper and tape it over to diffuse the light and create a very even glow. Then you can change them to whatever you want and even do things like fades and strobing. :)

I just watched a video, would Water proof provide the "Glow" or would this be decent? http://www.amazon.com/Antec-Advance-Accent-Lighting-USB-powered/dp/B00005108J/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1447477425&sr=8-17&keywords=red+led+strip&pebp=1447477428540&perid=1Y0CMG1P00Q7M4N94QCC
