Hello guys, I am here about my long time friend my Lenovo Y580.

It's been a real pleasure for me over the years, but it's just to heavy for me these days to use the capacities I want now that Kurald Galain has stolen my soul.

That said, I'm not sure the value of this thing anymore. It's fairly standard fare, and everything works very well, although I will say right now this thing isn't quiet under gaming loads.

My question to you is what is it worth?

Not a lot as i will say. Probably $600 - $700 range you're looking at since the GPU will able to play older games such as CSGO, Garry's mod, etc.....

Yea the GPU is nothing special. It plays skyrim with ease, even with fairly decent modding, but newer titles such as DA:I it really struggles on.

How much does this laptop cost when it come out?

It commonly went for 1100-1300 USD when it was purchased (Nov 2012).
