Adblocking Solution for Microsoft Edge

Before you say, 'wait for extension support', I am. Patiently. I want to use Edge to replace Chrome as it's become slow and a hog for resources, and I have been. The experience has been great, there are a couple missing features, the only real one being extension support (it'd be even cooler if they integrated the extensions for Edge into the Windows Store). Anyway, onto the topic.

For the past 14 days I have been using Adguard. Great program, very excellent piece of software. The only problem is it's like $25/yr or something for a license, and I'm still not willing to pay that money. So I experimented with Privoxy and AdMuncher, both of which were mediocre. They barely did the job and AdMuncher was almost bloatware in itself. Privoxy is not very user friendly and I honestly have no idea what to do besides what I found in a Reddit post. I managed to block a few ads with Privoxy, but they didn't completely block them, just said 'this page is not available', while a lot of other ads continued to show, especially on YouTube.

What is your solution? Preferably free? Thanks!

And don't tell me to get Chrome or Firefox or Opera or Safari. Please.

Why are you so adamant on using Edge? It's shite. And you pretty much know the answer to the solution you're requesting - wait for extension support.

I personally use Ublock Origin for both FireFox, Chrome & Opera and it does a good job.

Shot through the heart and you're to blame, 30fps and i'll pirate your game - Bon Jovi

Take me down to the console city where the games are blurry and the frames are thirty - Guns N' Roses

Arguing with religious people is like explaining to your mother that online games can't be paused...

Because I like it. I'm asking if there are any other options besides paid programs that are also simple to use.
