I love mine, I have the older model with an 870M w/ a 256GB SSD.

Its a hefty buy, but its a crazy machine, I would recommend getting the 1080p model.

it's a cool laptop, but it's definitely a luxury item. The MSI GS70 for example, is way more affordable, and is still thin. But hardware wise the Blade is a fricking miracle, with its thin body and powerful internals. i would wait till the 2016 model comes out.

I currently have the MSI GS60 with 870m and I want to upgrade. Only thing holding me back is the chance that there will be a full 970 or 1070 or whatever card without the 'm' on the next model.

What do you think.

In my opinion there is no substitute for the Razer Blade. If you want a portable, capable gaming laptop with decent battery life and build quality, it is it...cost is really the only thing that deters people, but if you got the cash go for it.

One thing many people overlook is that the power brick for the Blade is compact (almost the size of one for an ultrabook) whereas the bricks for other gaming laptops are massive.

  • 3 months later...

I have the Blade 2015, QHD screen, 250 GB Storage. And trust me, It's fucking awesome IF THE GODDAMN APPLICATIONS WOULD SCALE ON 3200x1800 EVEN IN WINDOWS 10!!!

I would recommend buying 1920x1080 model. The blade is fucking amazing (beside the scaling shit of mine!)
