You'll get 1TB of space but its not worth it in my opinion, I would stay the fuck away from RAID 0.

why... the real risk is very very small. Go for the raid. Ive been running raid 0 with 4 500gb hhds for years about 5 years now and ive had zero issues

There's the difference, you've been running RAID 0 with HDD's. He's talking about doing it with SSD's, now the performance boost - risk ratio with running RAID 0 on an SSD just isn't worth it since they're so fast anyways. Running RAID 0 on an HDD is definitely worth it though just because the speed increase is more noticeable.

that doesnt make sense, the failure rate of hdds are much more likely the ssds and ive ran ssds in raid too, there is a noticeable difference...
