I see no problem with it.

Just be sure to try it out in store before taking her home and have a technician there take a look at with you to make sure there are no defects. It is always good to have an experienced guitarist go over it with you.

Enjoy it man.

Have fun and practice often.

Seems like an ok starter guitar but a couple things

1) You should if at all possible, drive to guitar center and feel it out yourself. Take someone who can play with you to check the action and intonation. Cheap guitars are usually not sold properly adjusted however I'd be a nice plus

2) Trust me on this: You really do not want a tremolo. You'd rarely use it not only because it will make you sound like a cheesy, ridiculous Slayer solo every time but because on anything but a really high end, professionally set up original floyd rose guitar it will make you not want to use it since you'll have to tune your guitar again every damn fucking time you use it.

I know your favorite guitar players use it seamlessly, here's their secret: They play on several 5 grand guitars and usually travel with what we call a "Guitar Tech" which is a guy you pay specifically for the purpose of constantly tuning, adjusting and taking care of your guitars often while you're playing so they can have a freshly tuned and adjusted guitar to switch in between songs when it inevitably falls the fuck out of tune anyway.
