Ebay Bills

Hey there

So im not a big Ebay user but when I checked my Paypal today I saw 'Ebay Sarl' had taken money from me.

I sold one item for £31.50 (Free Listing, never read about any charges)

Its hardly even worth selling on there as I was charged about £4 which was was over 50% of my profit.

Yet, a month later im being charged?

Is this normal or do I need to contact Ebay as i've signed up to something I don't want?

Thanks

Ebay always takes a cut of the total from everything you sell in a month, on top of any listing fees. For your general ebayer that's not running a store, you don't get charged listing fees because you're only selling one or two things every once in a while.

Ebay always take a percentage of the money you get from selling.

Even if it was *free* to list.

I sold a bunch of stuffz and i was billed £24, dont think ill be using ebay again.

depends on the rules of your local eBay used.

a customer can charge-back your account, but funds are not shuffled until you

release that the buyer has returned the item.

you'd want to message buyer of issues of return, then if not satisfied, contact

eBay for non-paid item, and lastly, paypal should have launched a buyer grievance

for need to refund.

yes, ebay do have a auction fee and paypal has an accounting fee.
