Fan cable question!

Sup! My new fans are about to arrive so I need to get some adapters for my fan cables in order to use them with my fan controller.. Alright, this will be very hard to explain..

Will this work:  2x 3-pin fans on a 3-pin Y-splitter and then connect the splitter to a 4 pin PWM extension cable and then to the fan controller? xDD

Yes, should work. All of the fans will run at the same speed - you'll be able to change the fan speed of all of them, but not individual fans.

I will have 2 fans on each channel so i will controll those 2 fans right? :)

you don't need 4 pin if you're going to use a fan controller

I know but the 3-pin is out of stock :((

As long as your fan controller does DC fan control, you're alright. And they'll run at the same speed.

Yes, you'll have control over the speed, but both fans will run at the same speed

Yeah sir :D

What does DC mean? :D Each cannel can deliver 30w MAXIMUM XXXXXXXXX SNIPER XXXXXXXXXXX

IIRC there are two ways to change the speed of a fan:

  1. Change the voltage - a lower voltage will make the fan spin slower. this is DC fan control
  2. Send a PWM signal to the fan. The fan then changes its speed based on that signal. PWM fan control requires a fourth wire.

I'm pretty sure most fan controllers can still do DC fan control, so you should be fine. What fan controller are you using, though?

How to create a strong password

Size does not matter; it's how you use it

You can't make 3pin fan a 4pin fan by using extension cable. Fan must have 4th pin also for PWM to work. So you don't need that extra extension cable. And like said, 3pins can be controlled. It won't be as smooth as with PWM, but fan controllers do that by apllying less voltage for fan to run.
