Q Snap 451 NAS used as Steam game storage

Good Afternoon

Can I use my Q snap NAS to store all of my Steam games, then move the game folder to my main drive to play? I don't have plans to do this remotely, just on my internal home network.

I think so... I'm not real sure on who Q Snap is.

You dont need to move it, you can just map the server as a drive on the PC and launch steam and install the game to the servers hard drive

 

ive done it and it runs fine

Ok, I am assuming the Ethernet connection from my router to NAS would be ideal?
