Can't install windows 10

trying to upgrade windows 8.1 to windows 10 and this is what happens every time i try to install, when making a clean install (boot from usb) it just loads the files and then boots to windows 8.1

This is most likely caused by a driver. Try uninstalling extra drivers first, try to install, if that doesn't work then your uninstall your lan, mobo drivers and try install again.

I already made a clean install of windows 7 and tried again from there

any luck from Windows 7? the Microsoft site lists this error as a driver issue. Make sure you dont have any antivirus or tuning software running
