I have an FX 9590 OC at 5.3Ghz with a Gigabyte FX-990A-UD3 Mobo which overheats when I play Black Ops 3. I know I could lower My voltage and clock speed or even run with only 4 cores but I'd rather not. I have access to a CNC mill so I thought about making a water block for the MOSFETS, North bridge, south bridge or the CPU socket(IDK how but ill figure it out)  and adding it to my loop. Does anybody know any reason why this wouldn't work and what parts are important to watercool.

Thanks in advance!

You have to watercool a 9590, no doubt about it. Get a 240 rad cooler at least. That's all you can do about it.

I don't know about watercooling that board, either. EKWB only makes water blocks for a few select motherboards, and custom is really difficult.
