Hey Guys :)

I thought you might be able to help me decide, how to upgrade my Current PC.

My Goal:

As the performance of my current, quite old PC more and more is a pain in the ass, I thought about upgrading it for a few bucks until I get a completely new PC in a few months.

My goal is not to spend a lot of money on trying to transform it into a gaming beast, but to maybe get some slightly better (used) parts for 50-100$ to make the time until I have the money to afford my new PC less painfull. I think finding better parts than my current ones on a low budget shouldnt be a huge problem :D

Can you please help me to find some parts, that should increase the performance for my main uses and that are compatible with my current system?

My PC:

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 925 @ 2.81 GHz

GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5670

Motherboard: MEDIONPC MS-7646 (Specs: http://prntscr.com/90lqtc)

Memory: 8192 MB DDR3 SDRAM 669MHz

HDD: WD 1TB 7200RPM

Monitors:

24" 1920x1080 60Hz

17" 1280x1024 60Hz

Just let me know if you need any additional Info on my setup and I will update it ASAP.

Usage:

- Mainly Graphic design (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver (all of them CC)) --> Ideally, larger projects should cause less laggs after the upgrade

- Some Video and Audio Editing (Premiere Pro, Audition (CC aswell)) --> Shorter render times would be great

- Light gaming (LoL, Fifa, Borderlands, Payday 1+2, Rocket League, Dead Island (...)) --> Most of them currently run on low graphics, Something like medium would be great :)

- Browsing etc.

Benchmarks: /edit will replace those, as i made some mistakes benchmarking

As said above, dont bother and spend money on a new build. You will get much better performance from a new build than an old upgrade!

Replace the GPU and PSU also get an SSD.

Something like a R7 260, 120GB SSD and an EVGA B2 would be a good upgrade.

OC that CPU lots.

Is that possible with my current Motherboard?! Wouldn't know it supports OC..
