Probably a dumb question

Hey Linus Tech Tips,

 

This is probably a dumb question and I'm not even sure whether or not this should have gone in the cases and PSUs forum but I was wondering if a 390 would be any bigger in size than a Gigabyte 270X which is what I have now inside of my Fractal Design Define R4 case. If this question should be in a different forum then by all means please move it mods. I'm just looking over everything I'd need to know before I make the purchase.

Most likely it will be bigger, but I doubt it won't fit in your R4, That thing is gigantic.

The 390 is probably slightly bigger but it should fit no issues in an r4

 

I have two 780wi s in my r4 and they fit with plenty of room to spare.

Just googled it, the 270x is 290mm long and the MSI 390 is 277mm long so its shorter yes.
