pc sleep problems

everytime i set my pc to sleep mode i automaticly turns itself on after 4-6 hours and wastes alot of power any help to fix it?

If your computer is idling it draws not much power, not enough to be concerned with.

I have this problem with sleep and hibernation and my computer takes about 100 watts idle so a fix would be appreciated.

Why in the world would you put it in sleep mode?

 

If you're gone for 1 hour I can understand but keep it running while ur away for 7+- hours is just a waisted of money and power.

Just turn it off. Easy as that.

Have you tried hibernation?

You can try to disable the 'wake on lan' option. Might be in the BIOS, I can't remember.
