Slight fraps issue

I've tried recording a little with fraps, when I get into something like Batman Arkham Asylum (or City) I can perfectly see everything like normal but on the recording I'd see either my desktop or the pause screen of Batman - despite being able to hear the sounds. Also how could I make the videos smaller in size? I'm using 1680 x 1050 (and yes I know "OMG NOT (FULL) HD, MY EYES!" . . . *ONE MORE THING* (good for you if you get that reference) . . . my copy of Arkham Asylum (GOTY) is normally in English but I changed it to French a while back (I don't remember how), tried changing the steam setting of the game to English, got English menu's. But text (subtitles) and dialogue is still French.

On the "General" tab, do you have "Monitor Aero desktop (DWM)" checked?

Seems like it, despite having '120' under Video Capture Settings in the movies tab I seem to get lag in the video. Seems like that should get fixed as well as getting the videos smaller in size.

FRAPS is garbage,

That's just how high you put your FPS cap, you will still need some really powerful hardware to run well with fraps. Anyway if you problem is solved, make sure to use the "mark solved" feature.

Also on a side note, please quote people when you want to talk to them, otherwise theu have no way of knowing that you wrote ;)

Your forgetting of my language issue with Batman . . . Redownloading it at the moment, doubt it will make the game play in English again. . .
