PC not shutting down properly

Recently my PC has started to not shut down properly sometimes. The computer stops outputting a video signal, but the fans and power LED are still on. The only way I was able to really shut it down when this happened was by pressing the power button for a few seconds to do a hard shutdown.

Does anyone know what the cause might be and how to fix it?

Same thing happens to me.

Hopefully when I make a new build for christmas it will stop.

lol my Computer did that everytime, the Video were gone, but the computer still running, just wait like 10-20sec

mine used to do that when i had windows 8.1 i would cut out the video but still stay on for about 5 mins before shutting off
