FX-8370 Temps

Hi

 

I just installed a coolermaster nepton 240m on my fx-8370 , the installation was tricky ( first time) especially in my aerocool xpredator x1 case , luckily my system boots and damn this cooler is quiet   

Im running prime 95  now for over 15min and CPU temps are 40 degrees with ambient temp of 23 degrees .  Is this good for stock settings ?

The mobo temps seems high with 77 degrees or is this okay?

 

So if i OC how high can i let the temps go on my mobo? Can i use the stock cooler fan to cool the heatsinks?

yh that cpu temp fine but mobo higher that i would be happywith but dont worry about it  and i would get a better heatsink if your over clocking

How much you should overvolt?: depends on the mb.

And what heatsinks are you talking about?

O_O Those are rather amazing temperatures. As for overclocking, you'd be able to do that on that motherboard no problem as it has 8+2 (or something around that amount) of power phases so ocing would be fine but if you're uncomfortable with the temperatures do what you said and use the fan to cool them.
