Hi

I just installed a coolermaster nepton 240m on my fx-8370 , the installation was tricky ( first time) especially in my aerocool xpredator x1 case , luckily my system boots and damn this cooler is quiet  :)  :)

Im running prime 95  now for over 15min and CPU temps are 40 degrees with ambient temp of 23 degrees .  Is this good for stock settings ?

The mobo temps seems high with 77 degrees or is this okay?

So if i OC how high can i let the temps go on my mobo? Can i use the stock cooler fan to cool the heatsinks?

my rig ( fx-8370@ 4.6GHz / Nepton 240m/ msi 970 gaming / 16 Gb corsair xms / antec VP700P /  aerocool xpredator x1 white / costum rgb lights / r9 290 direct cu2 / 1 TB hhd/ sandisk 128gb ssd / adata SP900 128gb )

peripherals ( steelseries apex / sharkoon fireglider black / razer goliathus / lg25ub55 )

O_O Those are rather amazing temperatures. As for overclocking, you'd be able to do that on that motherboard no problem as it has 8+2 (or something around that amount) of power phases so ocing would be fine but if you're uncomfortable with the temperatures do what you said and use the fan to cool them.

For CPU: ~65 ºC

How much you should overvolt?: depends on the mb.

And what heatsinks are you talking about?

the heatsink on my mobo , the voltage regulators i think

my mobo : MSI 970 gaming

I was asking if i could use the small fan from the amd stcok cooler to cool the mobo heatsinks
