Which LAN cable?

Hello Folks!

 

I'm not vergy good with the whole Networking stuff, so I'm asking you folks.

So at the moment I'm using a CAT 5E cable and for some reason it doesn't give me the full upload speed I'm supposed to get.

My living room computer that uses a different cable has the full 900M/bits, but my main computer only gets 10M/bits.

 

Now I'm looking into getting a new cable since the one I have is pretty old anyways.

Now my question is, what ype of cable should I get since there are so many different ones?

CAT 5? CAT 6? Cat 6A? I'm confused with that.

just incase this is a sarcastic, My Internet speed went up if i change to CAT6, i thought it just a coincidence i tried it again and its the answer
