So I am probably going to order my parts tomorrow (Still Friday), and I wanted any final feedback on my build. Would it be better to have a Maximus VII Hero? I am going for a red and black look. Since this is my first build I would love some feedback and suggestions!

Thanks!

It's pretty OK. Would you be OK switching to a WD drive instead?

Nice build. 8GB would be enough memory. Take a look at G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory, Kingston HyperX Fury Red 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory, and Corsair Vengeance Pro 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory.

Hero is a nice motherboard, but expensive. The MSI Z97 Gaming 5 is also a nice board.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Looks good, but since your motherboard has corssfire support, you may want to get a higher wattage psu. Just in case in the future if you want to go two way 390's, you wouldn't have to upgrade your power supply. It all depends on your needs, however, because if you aren't planning on doing that then don't waste you money.

two options:

http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-power-supply-220gs0850v1

both (the evga one is borderline) would have enough power for crossfire 390's, and are great 80+ gold psu's for a great price.
