CPU Overclocking I7 4770k

You'd be able to do a little bit of overclocking, but not much.

 

IIRC, 4770Ks are notorious for being poor overclockers, due to the poor thermal interface material between the die and the lid.

I'd say its at least worth a try. There's no real risk as long as you keep the voltage below 1.35V and you stay away from Prime95 and Aida64. Thanks to thermal-throttling there is quite literally no way to overheat a CPU to death, and the only way to kill a CPU is with high voltage.

I have the 4770k as said in title. I recently bought a hyper 212 evo for cooling. Should I overclock it? I have a 750W psu and Linus has a pretty good overclocking guide out there but I'm debating the risks. Is it really worth overclocking it? 

You'd be able to get a bit of overclocking on it since that cooler isn't really good for heavy overclocking, if you wanna take it to around 4.5ghz then I would suggest getting a better cooler.
