So i have a Z97 Gaming 7 from Msi (Manuel URL http://us.msi.com/support/mb/Z97-GAMING-7.html#down-manual ) and a i7-4790k(not overclocked) and I am getting the issue of the computer not getting past a postcode 71 or A2. The computer has been running for about 7 months with no problem.

Have you looked in the booklet to see what those codes mean?

The most common cause of this error (according to Google) is faulty RAM.

 

Try removing all but 1 stick then try again, if it boots replace it with another stick... rinse and repeat until you either find the faulty stick/s or you've tried them all and they all work.
