GTX 970 SLI

Hello, I am professional Counter-Strike gamer that is looking forward to the new Blizzard shooter Overwatch. My goal is to have 144fps + constantly in good looking graphics so I can feed my 144hz monitor.  Do you think that will be achievable with Double GTX 970 and will it imput a lot of delay/lag or anything that will make my gameplay not feel smooth. I can't rma the GPU or sell it , because If i sell it I can't get more than 200euros which is bad because the GPU is 2-3 months old.

I was hoping for that, but after I saw that many 980 Ti's are getting around 120fps at High/Ultra settings I don't know if it's the game optimization or .... well maybe it's not optimized yet, but hm. Is there huge difference when you run with SLI or it just increase your fps a little bit, I mean is there something that can make my gameplay worse? Lag input or anything like that

Knowing Blizzard games and their horrible optimization, it could be possible that no cards will run it in 144fps. But it IS a new game, haven't tried it yet.

They pretend to make it huge eSport, as a competitive player I think eSport game should be able to run good on potato. Look at league dota and CS, all these games can run just well on bad pc's, on my PC it's overkill in all those games. If it's gonna be eSport they should optimize the game a lot.

If there are CS:GO visuals, one 970 should do the trick.

It's a different engine I think, it look beautiful, but I don't know. a lot people said it run smooth, actually you don't need the precision of CS:GO in Overwatch for headshots, but I still would like to see constant 144+

Yea, and when you look at the facts like half of all pro Starcraft players play Starcraft II on low settings.

You should be fine with one. Also why does everyone care so much about Overwatch? Is it just because Blizzard made it or what? It looks like TF2, CSGO, and Bioshock Infinate combined. All are fun on their own not combined.

You should be fine with one. Also why does everyone care so much about Overwatch? Is it just because Blizzard made it or what? It looks like TF2, CSGO, and Bioshock Infinate combined. All are fun on their own not combined.

Blizzard announced that it's gonna be huge eSport, and I am ex Quake 3 Champion in my country. It's interesting game, I am getting the second GTX 970 no matter what since it's a present.
