My friend is a console peasant and he said he would try PC gaming, and his budget is about 500. Thanks guys :)

The build in my signature was 500(-the ssd and second HDD and peripherals). Plays everything on med/high at 1080p with 45+ fps.

i7 4790k | GTX 970 | 16GB

That's all you need to know. It's a beast.

500 on the PC alone or Display and M+K included?
