Hi,

I need help on choosing which motherboard is better(performance, bang for the buck, post-sales support), MSI H170 Gaming M3 or Gigabyte H170 Gaming 3? Btw, I won't be doing any OC so, h170 has already been decided. :D

Thanks!

I hope that helps you out:

I don't have time for explenations, so you're on your own :P

It's already 2:35am here in Germany and I need to go to bed. x.x

Hi,

Thanks for the link. One difference I saw was the NIC. e2400 vs e2201, both from Killer. Any thoughts on this though?

Thanks :)

That shouldn't matter.

But I would go for the MSI board anyways, because I think it looks better, it has more CPU-phases and is also cheaper.

Therefor it doesn't have Thunderbolt and also only one Sata Express... But who needs that anyways? O.o

Well one thing that the Gigabyte has which I always need is another internal USB3.0 header.

You don't need it, that's true.

It's probably not a bad idea then to get the Gigabyte board then :P

But if you don't need the extra features that the Gigabyte board has, then I would go for the MSI board.
