Monitor for 980ti sli

cruztony

I know with these cards i could be able to run games in 4k at decent fps. But is it worth going to a 4k gaming monitor, considering price and input lag? What monitor would you recommend, doesnt have to be 4k?

I would say a 1440p 144Hz or something similar

1440p 144hz is a good option. ASUS PG279Q to be exact.

IPS

144hz (165hz OCed)

1440p

G-Sync

What more could you want?! So perfect

PG279Q will be the last monitor you need if you get one that is perfect out of the box. Having said that its worth the gamble. The way I see it 4k is nice and all but the performance hit is way to much to justify.  Sure you will be able to run anything now at max settings at 60fps but I would rather have some breathing room for future game releases!

Forget 4k. Too much performance loss. Go for IPS 1440p 144hz. Acer xb270hu or Asus pg279q.
