Right, here's the scenario:

On my network there is a baseline of 5 iPad's, 4 iPhone's, an Apple TV , 1 All-in-one PC, 2 Laptops , and a network printer all connected to one AP at any point-in-time assuming we're all home. At least two devices at any one time will be downloading media content such as TV shows (My internet bandwidth is around 30 Mb/s down and 10 Mb/s up, which can deal with the download) The problem arises however during the evening's when the downloaded media is air-played to the Apple TV over the network, the AP cannot handle the load and the connection to the apple TV is often dropped, being incredibly frustrating. When guests or friends are over the whole wireless network grounds to a halt due to sheer number of connected devices.

So I am in the market to purchase a dedicated Wireless AP from a UK Retailer within a budget of around £80. I have looked at:  http://goo.gl/VeBzOn I have heard good things about this AP but also some bad. I have also looked into  getting my hands on some second-hand / barely used business equipment such as the Linksys LAPAC1750-UK

Any suggestions on AP's within my budget would be greatly appreciated.

Ben

If you could find a used Asus AC-66R...that's the router I use at home and it's not given me any trouble.  The web client for accessing windows shares remotely can be a bit iffy but the router itself has been solid.
