So to continue my build log 'The Time Void I need a upgrade. I am currently looking at these things :http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MSI-G41M-P25-G41M-S03-MS-7592-LGA775-Motherboard-With-Back-Plate-/272027600296?hash=item3f561bc5a8:g:kUIAAOSw-vlVnPjp

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Intel-Core-2-Quad-Q6600-2-4-GHz-Quad-Core-BX80562Q6600-Processor-/111812819815?hash=item1a08903b67:g:PEMAAOSwYHxWNpsR

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kingston-ValueRAM-2GB-1X2GB-Memory-Module-DDR3-1333MHz-PC3-10600-DIMM-Desktop-/111336154471?hash=item19ec26e567:g:rdIAAOSwnDZUI8Ad

I am fairly sure this will all work together but I am unsure of the long term impact. This is similar to what Linus did on scrapward wars. I am planning on using this a daily Pc running windows 10. Is it worth it or should I save for a haswell i3 and board. (The ram is only temporary)

Thanks beach.

Wow Ok i guess IPC really does make  a huge difference. Thanks will consider it.

Yup. I was honestly kinda amazed. If my logic works, if I were to underclock my Pentium to roughly the same speed as the Q6600, they would be roughly the same speed (since my Pentium has like double the clock speed that it does and is twice as fast).

/Yeah I guess I will save up a bit more and get a pentium and a board and case. worth it in the long term i guess.
