Compatability with the at2020 mic

If you've got a stand to support the mic and connect it to a 3/8th inch thread, you may be able to. If not, you'll need the shockmount. However, beware that not using a shockmount will introduce you a lot of noise when you bump the desk or type on it. Also, depending on your PC case, it may even introduce a fan rumble. It may also happen if you use a gaming laptop.
