User recommended vs Important updates

General rule I have is install any updates (unless they're known to have issues)

Hi i was installing windows 7 64bit home premium, and i had an option to choose 

User recommended or Important updates for windows.

which should i choose ? i dont want it to keep updating unnecessary updates but important enough to keep my comp updated

If you're installing windows 7 then basically turn on all updates. It'll download all updated since 2009 (actually adds up to around 1.2Gb)

 

These updated are quite necessary and important. and also why not update to Windows 10 for free right afterwards?

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

i heard many mean things about windows 10 and good things too so im on the fence. but wwhat are your thoughts?
