Best Budget Graphic Card on 900P

Hai all, im new here n seeking for advice and im from Malaysia.

After some research. I end up with the GTX960.

Should i go for the 2gb version or the 4gb version to max out on 900P?

since the price range is huge for example:

Gigabyte GTX960 OC 2X 2GB - RM989 - ($230)

Gigabyte GTX969 WINDFORCE 2X 4GB - RM1125 - ($262)

its RM 136 different for me and its huge but if its worth it i might consider it.

Did the 4gb is future proof? considering i nowhere near to buy a monitor for a long time and will stuck at 900p only.

if u guys have any suggestion on other graphic card, then please recommend.

p/s: sorry for my bad english

The 960 2GB should be enough, but if you want better price to performance, you could look into the R9 280x.

Hello, welcome to the forums!

Alright so, what's your budget for the card?

Second, a 4GB 960 is a waste, because if memory bandwidth.

For 900p a 950 would be good, but probably won't max most newer games at that res, but I would highly recommend you give the r9 380 a look. It performs much better than the 960, and its a little more expensive than the 960

I think, you may be able to max out on most older games, but these new AAA titles, you'll run them on mid-high settings.

For the 380 there's only a 4 gb version I think, just don't get the 960 4 go it's a waste of money.

You'd be able to do just fine on an AMD 370 or a GTX 950, but a R9 380 will be perfect and futureproof.

For a 900p monitor you will be more than fine with an AMD 370 or GTX 950. If you go with the R9 380 you would be pretty solid also. Any higher would be a waste of money imo, unless you updated your monitor. I would honestly get a GTX 950 and a budget 24inch 1080p monitor. Amazon has the excellent 24inch BenQ monitors for less than $200. right now.

CPU: Ryzen R7 1800x (4.0GHz) | AIO: Master Liquid Pro 240 | MOBO:  MSI X370 XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM

RAM:  Gskill TridentZ RGB 3200(16gb) | GPU: Evga FTW ACX  3.0 GTX 1080(2x)

                             SSD: Samsung Evo 250gb | HSSD: Seagate 2TB | Case: InWin 303 Black | PSU: Evga 210 1000w
