Time to upgrade my old core 2 duo, to something more new, i've decided to go with the following new parts:

CPU AMD FX-8320 3.5GHZ 8MB

MOT ASUS M5A97 EVO R 2.0 AM3+

HD 1TB W.DIGITAL SATA 3 64MB BLUE

From my current rig i will keep using this parts:

Coolermaster Hyper 212+

Power & Cooling Silencer 750watts Quad

Mushkin Chronos 120gb SSD

Asus Xonar

ATI 4850

Probly next month i will be upgrading my videocard to a 7870 or 7970, but my main issue is that i havent decided wich RAM modules to use or the speed, the mobo says that it supports up to 2133 oc'ed.

This are my choices:

Gskill Sniper 2x4 gb ( 8gb) 2133 Mhz 11-11-11-30 (96usd)

Kingston Hyper X Genesis 2x4 8Gb 1866 mhz 9 - 11 - 9 (100usd)

Gskill Sniper 2x4 gb ( 8gb) 1866 Mhz 9-10-9-28 (120usd)

Gskill Ripjaws Z 2x4 2133mhz 9-11-10-28 (140usd)

Keep in my mind that i dont have many other options here in my country, maybe Patriot or Corsair modules can be found somewhere and thats all, my favourite choice would be the Hyper X, im in a tight budget so dont wanna waste money on sth that might not make a lot of difference, im planning on OC so i think i will be better with lower timming memos.

Thanks in advance!

Looks good - I would say, get a bit slower memory, but 16GB if you can. The system will get more out of 16 versus 8 then a few extra Mhz in the ram or timings.

Thanks guys, after reading both of your opinion this is all i could find:

Kingston HyperX 1600 CL9 2x4gb (66usd) or 4x8 (132usd) or 2x8(160usd)

Patriot G2 Series 1600 CL9 1x8 (66usd) or 2x8 (132usd)

I also found some GSkill Ares, but i didnt like the look of them, i mean, the build will be all black and blue, and the Ares are golden, so...anyways thanks for the advice!

I would go with the Patriot modules, only because if i bought those, i can buy all the three main components in the same reseller and maybe get some disccount, butI have never used Patriot memorys, those memories arent really popular in here, so any feedback about them would be aprecciated. Also i'm not sure if there's any difference between using 4 slots vs 2 slots, ive read somewhere that using 4 slots isnt recommendable when overclocking.

Thanks in advance
