Change search engine in Chrome from google.nl to google.be

Hello all,

 

I currently live just across the border in the Netherlands, however I consider myself Belgian. When I want to search something in Chrome, I obviously want it to be the Belgian versian of Google, not the Netherlands version.

I've set my home page to google.be, however I can't seem to change my search engine to google.be, it stays at google.nl.

So everytime I open a new tab and start typing in the URL bar, it searches through google.nl.

I can't add google.be as my search engine for some reason.

Anyone who can help me?

Nope, I can't add www.google.be as a search engine for some reason.
