If your looking for a budget phone i recommend the Xiaomi Redmi note 2 as it is one beast of a phone:

5.5" 1080p IPS screen

3080mAh battery

13MP camera

2.0GHz Mediatek Octacore Helio X10 - on par with the snapdragon 808

2GB ram

16/32GB.

Plus as an extra MediaTek released the code of the SoC which means custom roms for example:
