Hi,

Over the past few days I've noticed that when playing games my PC starts to make this strange vibration/humming noise. I opened my case to try and see where the sound was coming from and I'm certain it's coming from my GPU (GTX 780). To try and fix the problem I dusted out my entire pc with compressed air and I moved any wires that could have been touching the GPU but the problem still persists. I also made sure that the GPU was screwed on tightly, but it made no difference. The card seems to be working fine and the temperatures are all good, so I don't really know how to go about tackling the issue. I've done some research and it seems to be something to do with one the fans on my GPU failing. I'm considering to just bite the bullet and upgrade to a new graphics card, but I'd rather not as I don't really want to spend that amount of money right now and because the GPU seems to be working fine in all other aspects. I've had the graphics card for over a year so sending it back is not an option.

Any help/suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Might be the fans. Make shore they are all in the right place and wiggle them to see if they dont move. in the end you can RMA your gpu if it bothers you

Yeah, I'm fairly sure it's the fans. To be honest I haven't actually taken the GPU out of my PC yet as I'm not the biggest expert when it comes to this sort of thing, and if I did so I wouldn't be to sure how to re-seat it.
