oh, it's a matrix of 32x32! it's not one led

So if only one thing is uploaded, only one will light up, but under heavier load more will light up?

so you want us to give you a script that enters googles servers on their side whihc allows you to register new uploads just in order to make a 32x32matrix led panel change?

this is legally questionable and also kinda useless, besides, every hour more then 5h+ gets uploaded there, ranging from 10sec vids to a few hour long ones, the panel is by far not big enough.

May the light have your back and your ISO low.

neatysquidyt just said that there is a rss feed for uploads, and i don't care how long the video's are, i just care when they are uploaded

Google don't provide access to this information and probably because its useless.

Last year saw 300 hours of video uploaded every 60 seconds (source)

So from that we can say every second is 5 hours of video.

Also last year it was reported the average video length was 4.4 minutes (source)

So now 5 hours = 300 minutes. 300 / 4.4 = 68.

So that's 68 videos uploaded every second.

You could program your RPi to update based on this value but this is now a year old. You won't find a live count of the amount of videos being uploaded.
