Hello,

I'm getting a new graphics card(gigabyte r9 380) and i measured it out and it seems to fit just fine but im pretty new to pc building so i just wanna make sure this will fit. Here is a picture of the inside of my pc:

http://prntscr.com/8xbxc1

Here is my measuring the length:

http://prntscr.com/8xbxjc

http://prntscr.com/8xbxnz

It looks like it will fit length wise (as the r9 380 is about 9.9 inches) and i measured the height and width and it will fit perfectly fine

http://prntscr.com/8xbywo

as long as i move those cords at the end i should be fine right?

i'm just wondering if the thing in front of my current gpu can be moved so it will fit, here is what im talking about :

http://prntscr.com/8xbyhl

All answers are greatly appreciated!

Okay if you are just going to sit here and bicker can you at least answer the questions i have in the post?

i just did i ais any cad that is 12 inches or under will fit so a 9.9 inch card will fit. and for the thing on your board how high up is it? if it's taller than the PCIE slot it might be a problem

Can you just draw on my picture to show me where my pci-e slot is? idk the think is probably up about an inch if that

i cant see it in the pic becase the GPU is in it. bere here it looks like this http://prntscr.com/8xc3tw. its the  slot the graphics card is plugged into

Ohh okay thats what i thought you meant, so its just the thing that the gpu is kind of hooked into length wise? i'll go measure it and see if the pci is higher than that bump

It will fit if the heat spreader isn't taller than the pci-e slot to which I don't know if it is but I'm pretty sure it's not as that would be a stupid design if it were.

yeah but most motherboard that ive seen dont have the head spreader behind the PCIE slot. its already a weird design

It looks like the pci-e is barely taller than the heat spreader but barely. I couldnt get a good picture either. Im on my phone right now so is there anything else you guys want me to look at before i put the case back on?

if its taller you should be good. but if it touched it could cause a short
