Backup partitions for the device. It's a hidden setting on many devices if I remember correctly.

Plus the os itself takes up like 22GB.

How do I get rid of them? I want to merge them with my primary partition.

I mean is there anything special i need to do or just delete and merge them?

Undo windows backups, but I generally wouldn't recommend doing that.

Those are backup and (recovery?) partitions from the manufacturer, I guess (I know that Dell does include such stuff). If you want to delete these and use the space in your C: you have to:

1. Clone your Windows partition to another drive

2. Wipe the internal one and setup your desired partition layout (probably your looking for 1 partition)

3. Put the clone back on your internal drive

It is not really possible to merge partitions, although there are some programs out there but they wont work every time and they will do especially bad on bootable partitions (like your windows one).

So you have to backup your data either ways and it will both not work every time (maybe windows might not boot from cloned drive data, you need to reinstall windows -> too much effort). In my opinion it´s just not worth it...

Using toilet paper both-sided: sucess lies in your hands.
