Make 1 screen work like 4

Hi,

Do anyone here know how i can make one monitor work like 4?

I'd like to run a 40 UHD tv as 4 screens with a 2x2 grid. That way programs can snap to the corners

 

So the UHD monitor splits up into 4 FullHD screens....?

I run Windows 10 on one of my PC's, but the other is Windwos 7, where i want the same split/snap function

You could to split the screen into 4 virtual displays with DisplayFusion.

I wholeheartedly recommend this for anyone who uses multiple displays or wants to do crazy virtual display setups.

It has a mess load of features but it will do what you're looking for here.

 

It's well worth the asking price if what you want is a paid feature.

Windows 10 makes this pretty easy, well you can snap 4 applications into corners fairly easily. But it obviously wont act like 4 screens generally, just for the layout of those 4 apps.

Win key + (Arrow keys) 

If you want to snap to a corner simply hit the two keys that correspond to it.  

Example - up + left arrows keys to snap to the top left corner.
