So i can get an msi twin frozr gtx 760 or an asus direct CU 2 gtx 670.

I can get the asus for £8 ($12.54) cheaper than the msi

I shall be gaming at 1080p only and no higher resolutions, can anyone tell me which will be better for gaming

Thank you LTT forum

Wait for 9000 series, it would be foolish to buy a new card now. Never Settle is a deal breaker.

The 7950 outperforms the GTX 760 when and matches the 670 while coming at a considerably lower price point.

It comes with 3GB of VRAM, that's 1 GB more than the 760 and the 670 which will come in very handy considering we're on the verge of a new console cycle.
Memory utilization will go up, since now the developers have more than 4.5GB of usable memory while they only had 512MB previously.

The 7950 also comes with the never settle forever gold bundle, which allows you to choose 3 games out of 9, if you do not want any of the current offered games you can save your gold code to use later on once AMD adds new games to the bundle.

I recommend going with the Sapphire Dual-X & the MSI Twinfrozr , both have excellent coolers and unlocked voltage control so you can overclock to heart's content.

I hope this helps.

The guy is asking between GTX 670 and GTX 760.

Why most of you don't answer his question ? I see the same people spamming other threads saying "wait for 9xxx" and suggest something completely different to what he is asking like "HD 7970."

This should be dealt with as they are not helpful. I can't take it anymore from these people.

Back to the ORIGINAL question he asked.

The GTX 670 will be a better performing card than the GTX 760.

I would go for GTX 670.

Thank you.

Don't mind the fanboys who actually think the 7950 is a better card then the 760/670.  Stock the 760/670 beat it, overclocked its a toss up depending on silicon lottery.  I have a GTX 760 who outperforms some of my friends 7950s because they don't overclock as well as some people go on about.  They deliver the same gaming experience.  This forum is one of the worst I seen in terms of stupidity, he asked between two cards and you guys derailed the thread into an AMD thread as you do with every other one.

Back on topic, you couldn't go wrong with either.  Both are excellent cards with good coolers, however the GTX 670 does perform better and in your case cheaper! So I would grab the GTX 670.

^ With recent price drop for 7950 and Never Settle Reloaded bundle, 7950 is the better card to get right now imo. Depend on where u live though.  -_-
