high idle temps with AIO

Go to solution Solved by Kaitodesu,

How are your temps looking?

yesterday when i noticed it was 88 celcius and after new paste and some cooling down it idles at 60. after shaking the rad and swapping back to the stock cooler , i'm pretty sure the pump is dead so i'll be sending it back to rma

So i haven't been running a overclock on my pentium for a while now and my idle temps are usually 32 degrees with the fan spinning at 600rpm, but this morning all hell broke loose when i hear the fans spooling up and down. upon opening hwmonitor the cpu was 80 degrees out of nowhere.

So far i've replace the old thermal paste to a new one, but idle temps are still 60 degrees with the fans spinning at 2000rpm. any idea what might be causing this?

full speed, all the time

if you put your head inside the case, can you hear the pump?

the pump on my aio has always been silent so i normaly can't hear noise from it...  however it does have a led on it and it didn't glow when this one time i set the pump speed down, it is glowing now though so i assume it works
