One final check on my PSU

Railgun
Go to solution Solved by Oshino Shinobu,

Lol that's what I was told before xD But for just one more attempt at a 750W before giving up and getting a G2 650W, what about this one http://pcpartpicker.com/part/rosewill-power-supply-photon750

From what I know of the Photon series, they're sort of meh. Not great.

There's no need for 750w. 650W is more than enough (including big overclocks), and 750W is too much, but not enough for another card.

so I am planning on building this soon http://pcpartpicker.com/p/wg7MhM

Reviews of the PSU in my build say it's a good one but one of the reviewers I looked at really didn't like how it wasn't meant to be used at full power when at 30 degrees Celsius or above. I know that I probably don't need a 750W power supply for my build but this one is pretty cheap and I might want to overclock in the future and make sure I still have some wattage to spare for that hungry hungry 390x lol

I would like to know if you guys recommend the PSU in my build or if it's actually a really cheap one that could end up exploding or something. If I shouldn't get the one in my build then what should I get instead?

Oh btw, you might think it's kind of weird that my mobo and GPU are red when my case is blue but don't worry I haz an idea to work with for that :P

The CX series aren't suited for more than office type builds. For a $1500 build, you should be looking at something like an EVGA G2 650W.

EDIT: The PSU isn't going to explode, contrary to what some people here will tell you. It's definitely not good quality though, it's cheap for a reason.
