Holy shit that's cheap!

 

Seriously, I had to pay for this all myself, when I was 18 I was legally able to get a license.

 

I found a driving school who gave lessons for €45 per hour (1 hour 1 lesson) (that's about $50,- per hour)

I had to take I think 34 lessons which is $1700 for the lessons alone.

Then the vocal test, you know, if you know when to stop, brake or let the car roll for a bit... that was 85 dollars.

Then the actual exam, I believe that was €250... had to take another exam 'cuz I failed so that was €500 down the drain ($550)

 

That adds up to $2335 to be able to drive.

You shouldn't complain, really :)
