I don't recommend anything from EVGA. Unless you hate yourself or your wallet.

That wasn't aimed at you specifically. Just a lot of people on the forum recommend EVGA as a whole, while they have a fair few meh units, as well as one or two shockingly bad ones. 

 

I'd say EVGA's S and 2 Series PSUs are all good and worth buying. They tend to be the best in terms of quality for the money, and you get EVGA's brilliant support and warranty.

a ssd is not really needed tbh. Most people only need a hd

SSD is a must have.

The brands to look for are Antec and Seasonic. Or Corsair HXi or Ax series.
