Hi forum.

I was wondering if when doing individual sleeving of the cables if they must go back into the exact same spots or its its just a black wire in a spot where there was a black wire. I mainly ask for the pcie cables. I have a silverstone strider 750w and the cables are all over the place, quite annoying, so i was hoping i would be able to move them around a bit so they could match up.

thanks for reading.

The best way to do this is to make a small diagram of the connector and label each pin with some masking tape, label it with a number and put the same number in the diagram. its best to make sure that the correct voltages go to the correct place and the best way of ensuring this is to put the cables back exactly where you found them.

yeah i'd figure the diagram would be the best way to go about it. but do the pins have to go in the exact same spot? its just annoying.. say on one end its the first pin on the top right corner and on the other end its the 3rd pin in on the top row. is it essential that they go in the exact same spot?
