computer keeps freezing up after small OC

i have gone back to dealt settings but it keeps randomly freezing when something sudden happens in game .

i did not OC to much

Whats your cpu, cpu cooler, voltage, and your current clock?

If you can deal with the heat try upping the voltage in small increments until it is stable.

Sounds like something isn't stable, try using this as a guidelines for your overclocking:

 

 

EDIT~ Do we have a max temp. and voltage for Skylake?  I could make a quick update to this..

haswell is only 1.3? i thought it was 1.35v max and

It's a guideline.. Honestly for Sandy Bridge a lot of people say don't go over 1.4V, including me

 

I didn't make it, I just found it to be very simple and helpful

Try to incerase voltage. But not much. Like 0.00125 per step.
